The final four legends for Smackdown vs. Raw revealed!!
Date Added: August 19, 2004
Story By: Rick Quinn
We've all been waiting with baited breath since hearing the WWE was going to include "big name" legends, and THQ lived up to the hype by including Andre the Giant to the Smackdown vs. Raw roster. Next, old school Kane & Undertaker were added to the mix.

Just recently, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper were confirmed for the game, but hard core fans of the series weren't impressed. Then, THQ was able to secure arguably the biggest legend possible, Bret "Hit Man" Hart. Then, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake was included on the roster. But that wasn't enough, fans still wanted more...

... and THQ delivered.

Tonight, THQ has revealed the final four legends for the roster have been announced:

A legendary tag team, one of the most dominate in WWE history: The Legion of Doom. Yes, the LOD return for another install of the Smackdown series.

Not satisfied? Somehow, I thought that wouldn't be enough, but THQ were able to secure yet another tag team. This team were arguably one of the most entertaining in WWE history: The Rock & Sock Connection. Yes, both Mick Foley and The Rock have been 100% confirmed for the series.

Rumors of Yokozuna and Steve Austin simply did not pan out, much like the rumors of The British Bulldog. THQ gave their best effort, but the rights to Stone Cold and Yokozuna simply could not be secured.

While some may complain about the roster being much smaller than last year's version, surely the legends are much more impressive.
