We’ve all seen many, many championships in the history of Professional Wrestling, many with different stipulations and meanings, and on Saturday. February 2nd in Kalkaska, Michigan, Mr. Chainsaw Productions Wrestling will crown their first ever “No Limits Champion” in a 4 Man Ladder Match.
The No Limits Division was officially formed in September of 2008, and was a division that was set to be a hybrid of Cruiserweights and Hardcore Wrestlers in one single division. With all No Limits Matches taking place under No Disqualification and No Countout Rules, it allows wrestlers to spend equal time in and out of the ring, using high risk moves, along with some weapons here and there.
The first No Limits Division Match took place in September of 2007, and got a great response by all fans alike. Pitting the team of Chance Laredo and Mike White against Frank Stein, and The Young Assassins, Laredo and White pulled out the win with some amazing offense. The wrestlers and fans both agreed that the freedom to dive outside and stay out there was a different touch, and the division was set to pick up.
At MCPW AfterMath in October, No Limits Wrestler, Chance Laredo won an over the top rope “Chance Battle Royal” where the winner would receive any match of their choosing, Laredo asked the fans what they thought of holding a tournament of all No Limits Matches, to crown a No Limits Champion in MCPW, the crowd and wrestlers again agreed and the Tournament was signed.
Taking part in the Tournament was, Chance Laredo, Mike White, Caden Ames, Jeff Brooks, Frank Stein, and Kid Hybrid in 2 Triple Threat Matches. Whomever took the pinfall or submission would be knocked out of the tournament with the 2 winners advancing. As the night came to an end, Caden Ames, Chance Laredo, Kid Hybrid, and Mike White were the final four left standing, and it was then announced that they would compete at MCPW’s 1 Year Anniversary Show in a 4 Man Ladder Match to crown the first ever, No Limits Champion.
Since the match has been announced, Kid Hybrid had to be pulled due to a prior booking, thus leaving 3 Wrestlers competing in the Ladder Match. Now, in addition to the Ladder Match there will be a “No Limits Battle Royal” on February 2nd, and the winner will receive the final slot in the Ladder Match later in the evening.
The No Limits Division is just starting to heat up, and with great responses from the crowd, it can only get bigger and better. Come witness MCPW History as the first ever MCPW No Limits Champion will be crowned. It will be Caden Ames vs. Mike White vs. Chance Laredo vs. ???? in a 4 Man Ladder Match on February 2nd at the Kalkaska Civic Center in Kalkaska, Michigan at MCPW 1 Year Anniversary: THE AGE OF THE FALL.
