NECW SNOWBRAWL Saturday Night in Quincy, MA!
Date Added: January 24, 2008
Story By: Will Hengelbrok

New England Championship Wrestling makes its way back to the National Guard Armory, 1000 Hancock Street in Quincy, MA on Saturday night, January 26th for SNOWBRAWL. Bell time is 7:00 PM.

The main event is set to be one of the biggest bouts in NECW history - a gigantic 8 man tag team battle!

On one side will be the new NECW Triple Crown Champion, Big Rick Fuller, D.C. Dillinger, "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards and Antonio "The Promise" Thomas. They will square off against the team of former Triple Crown Champion, "Straight Edge" Brian Fury, "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion, "The Infamous" Bobby Fish and the 2007 TOXIC WALTZ winner, Max Bauer. The match will be contested under elimination rules.

Also announced is a rematch for the NECW Television Championship, as "The Real Deal" Brandon Locke collides with Handsome Johnny. These two went to a time limit draw last month and this time both men are eager to establish who is the better man.

In addition, Lexxus will defend the World Women's Wrestling Championship in a rematch from this past Saturday night against "The Portuguese Princess" Ariel.

The semi-final matches in the NECW Tag Team Tournament will take place as Kreeper & Iraqnid, "The Weapons of Masked Destruction" battle "Revolution" Chris Venom and "The Pinnacle" Paul Lombardi. Chase Del Monte & "The Rocket" Fred Curry were set to take on The Baker Boys, however due to an injury, The Baker Boys will not be able to compete. The NECW Board of Directors has chosen one team by random draw from the teams that have previously participated in the tournament to take their place. Exotic Entertainment ("The Exotic" Kristian Frost and "The Ladies Man" Gregory Edwards) got the nod and they will be in action this Saturday night in the semi-finals.

In addition, the maniacal Michael Sain faces off with Jason Blade. Team Cairo member, Scott Osbourne squares off against the returning "Sweet" Scott Ashworth. The team of "The Human Nightmare" Evan Siks and "Nightmare" Nick Steel take on the self-proclaimed team of "Totally Awesome," Matt Spectro and Ryan Matthews.

Tickets are on sale now at all FYE locations, K.C.'s Sports Card, 33 Temple Street in Quincy Center and online at www.NECWwrestling.com.
