UPWA Wilmington Explosion (Press Release)

The fastest growing wrestling promotion in the southeast returns to the National Guard Armory in Wilmington, NC on Saturday Night, July 11th when the UPWA presents Wilmington Explosion 2009.

UPWA has lined up a great card for this action packed show holiday show.

The UPWA Tag Team Champions, The Nigerian Nightmares have issued an open challenge for any team to face them for the titles. After getting an overwhelming response from teams who want the title shot, the UPWA have said the team of Big and Small has been chosen to face the champs.
In other action the debuting Jason Gotti will face off with Amazing Velvet. The Russian Blok will face Smooth Excellence in tag team action at the show.

The returning Pete Nixon will face 2Dxtreme in UPWA Heavyweight Title Tournament First Round action.

The non-stop action is headlined by a Carolinas Championship Match between Champion The Beast facing LA Tank. For fans of the UPWA these two have been involved in a brutal fued and look to settle the score on the 11th.
