MMAWeekly.com is reporting that Jim Miller and David Baron will make their UFC debuts on Oct. 18th when the UFC makes it's return overseas to England. The newcomers will square off in a lightweight showdown.
Baron most recently fought in Shooto and in his last fight submitted Hayato Sakurai in the first round. He sports a 16-2 record. with his losses coming too Takanori Gomi and Per Eklund. He holds two wins over UFC fighter Dan Hardy.
Miller (11-1), the brother of IFL Middleweight champion Dan Miller who also just signed with the UFC, last fought in the IFL against recent WEC signee Bart Bart Palaszewski, winning that fight via unanimous decision. The lone blemish on his record comes at the hands of Frankie Edgar.
The UFC 89 card is set to be headlined by Michael Bisping against Chris Leben in middleweight action and will also feature, Lyoto Machida, Keith Jardine, Brandon Vera, and many more superstars at the event.
