Rich Franklin, Wanderlei Silva, Terry Etim and Mike Swick each received a $60,000 bonus for their performances Saturday when UFC returned to Germany with UFC 99 The Comeback.
The main event featured a catch weight fight between Rich Franklin and former PRIDE champion Wanderlei Silva. The fight went back and forth and delivered in every fashion. The two were awarded Fight of the Night.
As expected, Mike Swick came out of UFC 99 with a Knockout of the Night bonus after he dismantled TUF alum Ben Saunders in the second round after a flurry of punches. Swick finished the fight with Saunders on the ground; nailing repeated left punches until the fight was halted.
The undercard featured a total of 3 submissions in total. Terry Etim came out with the most impressive submission on Justin Buchholz, which gave Etim a Submission of the night award and bonus.
