Details On Hardy's TNA Contract
Jeff Hardy actually signed a contract with TNA over a week ago. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but TNA officials are asking for roughly...
During last night's broadcast of The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale on Spike TV, Dana White let it be known of his intention to at some point put together a middleweight title fight between champion Anderson Silva and "The Phenom" Vitor Belfort.
Here's what White had to say about the idea of the bout:
"While [Anderson Silva] is fighting Forrest [Griffin], I'm working on some other 185 pounders. Vitor Belfort - he is a former heavyweight who moved down to 205. Now he's at 185 pounds. He's got great hands, he's good on the ground, and if his head is right, he can be a very dangerous guy. I think that would be a great match up."
Belfort is scheduled to face Jorge Santiago in August at Affliction: Trilogy, but with a lack of challengers for Silva at Middleweight in the UFC, the idea of bringing Belfort in isn't so far fetched.
