First and foremost, training for my August 8th Lightweight Title Fight against BJ Penn is going great! I have been working with tremendous training partners.
My coaches Keith Florian, Mark DellaGrotte, Peter Welch, Kevin Kearns, Jesse Kropelnicki and Jonathan Chaimberg have been monitoring my progress closely and are making sure no stone is left unturned. For this camp, Firas Zahabi from Tristar Gym in Montreal has also been helping me out.
I am in the best shape of my life even though I am still almost 7 weeks out from the fight. My technical and physical skills have improved tremendously since my last fight against Joe Stevenson. I can't wait to test them against BJ Penn in Philadelphia.
