World Wrestling Entertainment will be taping Friday Night SmackDown and ECW on Sci Fi tonight from the I Wireless Center in Moline, Illinois.
No matches has been confirmed for this week’s SmackDown, however expect the fall out from this past Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view featuring The Undertaker’s return and Triple H’s WWE World Championship defence. Also expect Edge not to be at the taping as he has now been sent to “hell”. It is possible that Triple H’s challenger for the Championship at next months’ WWE Unforgiven PPV will be hinted or revealed.
Mark Henry defending the ECW Championship against Matt Hardy in a rematch from SummerSlam has been announced by WWE. Ricky Ortiz is also being advertised to put his unbeaten streak on the line against a debuting wrestler as part of Teddy Long's new talent initiative.
