- The current plan is to have the winner of the WWE Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven to defend the title against the Undertaker later that night. This would be Vickie Guerrero peace offering by giving Undertaker a title shot.
- Vince McMahon was in a bad mood at last week's TV tapings. He was very critical of RAW and cussed out writer Bruce Prichard. He was even worse at the Smackdown tapings. The writers overwrote the script, which caused a timing issue that didn't sit well with Vince. The scripts were not finished until an hour before the tapings started. This chaos has reminded some of working for WCW.
