Roddy Piper Arrest Update, Pro Wrestling On FX?

-- Roddy Piper was bailed out of jail earlier today on $5000 bond and will have to appear before a court in Los Angeles for his DUI charges on 7/23.

-- BroadcastingAndCable.com ran an article today about how the FX Network, owned by Fox, wants to get in the cable ratings race and challenge USA Network and TNT for the ad-supported cable ratings leadership. The piece says that without getting a pro wrestling or a sports league, they won’t ever be able to compete. With all of SmackDown’s viewership troubles on WGN, you can bet WWE officials are salivating over this article, which you can read in it’s entirety at this link.
