- The latest Dutch Mantel blog entry features a story regarding an ice storm he and Steve Austin encountered while on the road traveling to a show in the early 90's. "I knew that there was no way the matches would be held that night," Mantel recalled. "But, like the idiots we were, we continued the journey since we were very close to the Mid South Coliseum. As we pulled into an iced over backstageparking lot, we saw the King, Jerry Lawler was getting into his car. He told us that the matches had been canceled. No s**t? Really?
