Big SD! Debut, Lacey Update, Punk's GI Joes, More
Date Added: September 24, 2007
Story By: Steve Carrier
-- Harry Smith, the son of the late Davey Boy Smith (British Bulldog), made his WWE SmackDown! debut last night at the SmackDown/ECW show in St. Joseph, MO. Smith teamed with Dave Taylor to lose to The Major Brothers. At last word, Smith was still teaming with The New Hart Foundation in WWE developmental and currently holds the FCW Heavyweight Title. No word if WWE plan on bringing him up outside of The New Hart Foundation.

In related news, Lacey Von Erich made her WWE developmental debut at the 9/15 show when she managed Billy Kidman in a match against FCW Heavyweight Champion Harry Smith, which Smith won.

-- CM Punk was featured in the most recent edition of USA Weekend. Here is the text from the article:

Phil Brooks, aka CM Punk of Extreme Championship Wrestling, still has all of his old G.I. Joe toys, watches the cartoons and reads the comics, but call the pro wrestler a geek at your own peril. He says his long-standing love for all things G.I. Joe reflects his individuality inside and outside the ring. Brooks, 28, grew up in Chicago, a huge fan of the franchise, and two of his many tattoos reflect that adoration: an Arashikage ninja clan symbol on his right forearm and the very noticeable Cobra logo on his upper right arm. "I guess I gravitate more toward the evil side," the ECW grappler says. "I'm not the all-American, Captain America type."
