- According to Ticketmaster, WWE's 2008 Royal Rumble sold out in just under five hours. It is likely WWE will put additional tickets on sale, but for now the pay-per-view event from Madison Square Garden is sold out.
- The high-definition broadcast of the Royal Rumble will be airing on digital cable, DirecTV and on iNDEMAND's HD PPV channel. The HD broadcast is priced at $49.95, instead of the usual $39.95.
