- If you are excited about WWE RAW airing in High Definition, it looks like you are going to have to wait longer than this coming Monday. According to Mike Johnson the original plan was for RAW to launch in HD alongside the USA Network, however, it has since been pushed back several weeks. It is likely that WWE RAW will debut in HD the day after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view which is set to be the first WWE pay-per-view broadcast in High Definition.
- A new independent pro wrestling promotion is about to debut in Chicago with several former WWE superstars. On January 12th Second City Wrestling will hold their first show with Aaron The Idol Stevens, Rob Conway and Nick (Eugene) Dinsmore as well as several former WWE developmental talents such as Seth Skyfire, Mike and Tracy Taylor, Chris Cage, Chris Michaels and even former ECW star Big Sal E. Graziano. The event will be held at the Don Preston Recreation Center in Midlothian, Illinois at 7 PM. More information can be obtained by emailing secondcitywrestling@gmail.com.
- Bill Clark sent the following: I was at the Albany, NY Smackdown! and ECW house show last week. There was a divas competition and I happened to notice that Michelle McCool was wearing an Undertaker shirt while in the ring. So that can add to the speculation that her and Undertaker “Mark Callaway” are going out.
