- MyFOXAtlanta.com is reporting that focus in the investigation into steroids found in the former home of WWE Superstar Mike Knox has shifted from finding out who was using the drugs to who was supplying the drugs. The story notes that a team of agents are working on putting together a case that may lead to felony charges for possession of drugs.
The investigation is now focusing more on where the drugs came from than the possession charges on Knox. Investigators have questioned Knox by phone, but he is not a suspect. It's believed that Knox is still denying any knowledge of the suspected drugs. Since Knox denied knowledge of the drugs, investigators have lifted fingerprints off the vials and are going to be comparing fingerprints that were lifted from the scene.
Officials say the investigation has led to a human growth clinic operated by a doctor in Stuart, Florida. Police say three other people connected to professional wrestling lived in the home with Knox and they are trying to track those people down as well. At this point, no charges have been filed in connection with the case, but the investigation continues to widen and charges are expected to be brought forth.
