- Matt Hardy has posted a new blog entry on his MySpace page. In it, he comments on winning the WWE United States Championship at Backlash. Hardy writes, "We did it! At Backlash, in Baltimore, Maryland, we did it! The United States Championship is mine. Matt Hardy is the NEW United States Champion, by finally defeating my arch-rival MVP. I can honestly say it was the biggest and most monumental win of my career. I have worked so hard and have been busting my ass for the longest time to achieve this goal. And I couldn't have done it without the help and support of all my peers, friends, and fans. Thank you. We only have one more step to go from here--the World Heavyweight Championship!
