WWE SmackDown! Results (11/28/08) Edge said he wasn’t ready to come back. But he woke up the morning of the Survivor Series and knew he had to take matters into his own hands...
Ring of Honor wrestler Bryan Danielson worked a WWE dark match on RAW this past Monday against Lance Cade. There is no deal set in stone for Danielson working for WWE since he's currently signed to ROH. He is working in Mexico and will be working in Europe at the end of the month.
WWE was going to offer Danielson a contract in 2006 before Vince McMahon and John Lauranaitis decided to set a 6-2 height requirement. "He's a hell of a mechanic and he would have gotten over fine," one WWE source said. The source thinks the creative staff isn't focused enough on quality wrestling to properly use Danielson. "I'm not sure in today's environment."
William Regal has been a huge supporter of Danielson, Nigel McGuinness, and other ROH talent. "If Regal had any stroke, Bryan Danielson and a lot of guys would have been signed a while ago," the WWE source stated. "He's a good mentor, though. He gives golden advice."
