Date Added: July 22, 2008
Story By: Ryan Gray
WWE taped tonight's edition of ECW On Sci-Fi from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Special thanks to Wrestling News World readers Chris and "Wild Bill" Madway for text-messaging the following results. Remember if you are attending a WWE event in the near future and would be interested in helping us with our coverage please email me your name, mobile number, and which show you will be attending to this email address.

* The arena is about 98% full. Lots of "WOOO" chants

Dark Match:

* Ron Killings b. Shamus O'Shaunessy
Killings got the win with an axe kick.

ECW On Sci-Fi: (Airing Tonight)

* Theodore Long opens the show and awards Mark Henry a brand new ECW Championship. Tony Atlas comes out with Henry and they cut a promo. Atlas is drawing a lot of heat.

* Colin Delaney comes out and says Tommy Dreamer is the future. Theodore Long says that Dreamer is the present and sets up a match to kick off ECW.

* Tommy Dreamer b. Colin Delaney
Dreamer hits the tree of woe followed by a DDT for the win.

* Evan Bourne b. James Curtis
Lots of offense from Curtis. Bourne finally gets to the ropes and hits a shooting star press for the win. Big pop for the move. After the match Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely (who were on commentary) try to attack Bourne but he escapes.

* Matt Hardy b. Finlay, John Morrison, and The Miz
Hardy will now get a ECW title match at SummerSlam.
