ECW On Sci-Fi Results - March 25, 2008

[Q1] The opening video kicked off the show... Joey Styles and Tazz introduced the show and hyped that there will be a special preview of the WWE battle royal on WWE.com on Sunday...

1. Great Khali and Mark Henry and Chuck Palumbo and The Miz and Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch and Snitsky and Brian Kendrick and Elijah Burke and Deuce and Domino and Matt Striker defeated Kane and Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes and Jamie Noble and Shannon Moore and Val Venis and Jim Duggan and Shannon Moore and Jesse and Festus and Kofi Kingston and Tommy Deramer at 9:22. This mess of a match went to break a few minutes in. [C]

After the break, a bunch of guys hit their finishing moves. In the end, Snitsky pinned Dreamer.

A video hyped the Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show match...

[Q2] [C] The WrestleMania 24 video aired. Backstage, Chavo Guerrero mocked Tommy Dreamer for losing the battle royal while Colin Delaney stood by. Dreamer said he knows the odds of him winning the battle royal are slim, so he challenged Chavo to a match. They bickered until Chavo eventually granted Dreamer a non-title match...

2. Shelton Benjamin defeated Carlito at 11:04 in a Money in the Bank preview match. Before the match, Styles reminded viewers that Mayweather and Big Show will appear on NBC’s “Today Show” on Wednesday morning. Tame action early with some audible grumbling from the live crowd.

[Q3] The match picked up about eight or nine minutes in with a couple of good nearfalls. In the end, Shelton caught Carlito on the top rope and hit his finisher off the top for the win.

A video teased the three-way match between Randy Orton and Triple H and John Cena...

A graphic noted that the battle royal will be a special “Free-View” on WWE.com. OK, now it makes sense. In other words, they’re giving away a match they’ve been advertising and the 23 guys who worked the tag match opener will not actually appear on the WrestleMania pay-per-view. Lame for them...

The announcers ran through the WrestleMania card and the WWE Hall of Fame inductees...

[Q4] A video introduced Gordon Solie as the final Class of 2008 inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame... A shot aired of Stevie Richards and Kelly Kelly hanging out backstage..

3. Mike Knox and Layla defeated Stevie Richards and Kelly Kelly at 2:32. Short match. Knox pinned Richards clean after hitting a corkscrew neck breaker...

4. Chavo Guerrero beat Tommy Dreamer in a non-title match in 3:00. The other 23 men who will be in the WrestleMania battle royal stood around the ring. Styles said they were there to scout Chavo. Solid action in a short match. In the end, Chavo caught Dreamer on the top rope and knocked him to the canvas. Guerrero followed up with a Frogsplash for the win.

After the match, Snitsky climbed in the ring and punched Chavo from behind. The other wrestlers jumped in and brawled to close the show...
