[Q1] A new opening video aired complete with shots of new ECW wrestler Vladimir Kozlov... Josh Matthews and Matt Striker introduced the show and hyped the Christian vs. Finlay vs. Tommy Dreamer Triple Threat match...

1. John Morrison defeated Evan Bourne in 17:10. Before the match, the announcers recapped the Miz and Morrison split. We got our first look at the announcers. "No nasal menstruation tonight." Hilarious. Striker said he'd be going there all night.

Good back and forth action to start. Morrison delivered a great running knee to Bourne's head that knocked him off the ring apron at 3:45. Morrison followed him to ringside and kicked him before throwing Bourne back inside the ring. Morrison locked Bourne in a version of the Torture Rack, but Bourne turned into a cool head scissors. Bourne ran the ropes, but Morrison raced toward him and caught him with a kick to the knee. [C]

During the break, an ad aired for Batista vs. Ted DiBiase, and Randy Orton and Triple H going "face-to-face" (verbal segment) on Friday's Smackdown...

[Q2] The announcers noted that Morrison grounded Bourne throughout the commercial break. Morrison worked over Bourne with a chin lock until Evan hollered and powered out of the hold and hit a big clothesline. Later, both men scored some quality near falls. Morrison backed toward the ropes to bounce off, but Bourne followed him and hit a diving block that sent both men to ringside.

Bourne rolled Morrison back inside the ring and then his diving knee drop for a great near fall. Bourne hit a couple of kicks, but Morrison blocked one. Morrison went for his finisher, but Evan countered with a kick. Bourne went up top for the Shooting Star Press, but Morrison recovered and nailed him with a kick and hit the Moonlight Drive for the clean pin...

A shot aired of Vladimir Kozlov walking backstage... [C]

2. Vladimir Kozlov squashed Benjamin Varia in 1:00. I doubt I got the last name of Kozlov's opponent right. Unfortunately, they didn't show a graphic for the guy. A total squash. Striker spent the match discussing Kozlov's Sambo background and took another shot at Matthews's nosebleed on Raw. Afterward, Kozlov said he is dominant and it will be no different in ECW...

A shot aired of Finlay and Hornswoggle doing simultaneous squats backstage...

[Q3] [C] The announcers discussed the upcoming Raw main event of Triple H vs. Randy Orton, and pimped the WWE Supplemental Draft for tomorrow...

Backstage, Paul Burhcill and Katie Lea Burchill expressed concern that they will be split up in the supplemental draft to Tiffany. She said everyone is fair game. After the Burchills left the room, Jack Swagger told Tiffany that he would like to appear on the WWE Superstars show. However, she informed him that the finals of the Championship Elimination Masturbation Chase (or whatever the hell they're calling it) will take place on the show instead...

Christian made his entrance for the main event... [C] A commercial hyped the WWE Superstars debut... Tommy Dreamer and Finlay made their entrances for the main event Triple Threat match...

3. Finlay (w/Hornswoggle) defeated Tommy Dreamer and Christian in a Triple Threat match in 14:40. The loser of the match is eliminated from the chase series. The other two wrestlers will go head-to-head on WWE Superstars to earn the ECW Title match against Jack Swagger at the pay-per-view. Christian controlled the opening minute of the match by working over both opponents.

[Q4] All three wrestlers received their fair share of the offense as the match progressed. With both opponents on the floor, Christian dove off the top rope onto both men as the show cut to commercial. [C]

After the break, Christian worked over Dreamer and went up top for a move, but Finlay recovered and tossed him off the top to ringside. The announcers noted that there are no countouts or disqualifications in a Triple Threat match. Striker had to admit he was wrong about his interpretation of the rules.

Finlay caught Dreamer in an arm submission. Matthews wanted to continue having fun with Striker for messing up the rules, but Striker cut him off (and rightfully so) to put over the submission attempt. Later, with Christian tied up in the ropes, Finlay hit the Celtic Cross on Dreamer and scored the clean pin.

Finlay pinned Dreamer, meaning Finlay and Christian both advance to final match of the chase series. Finlay vs. Christian will air on WWE Superstars with the winner facing Jack Swagger for the ECW Title at Backlash. Christian and Finlay stood face-to-face and jawed back and forth to close the show...
