The opening Smackdown montage plays before the pyro explodes inside of the jam packed Allstate Arena. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are at ringside. Cole, “We are 3 days away from finding out the future of the World Wrestling Federation! We are 3 days away from the King of the Ring! But tonight, we have got to decide the final two semi-finalists. In two quarter final matches tonight, The Undertaker faces Diamond Dallas Page and The Rock takes on D-Lo Brown. Also tonight, its Intercontinental Champion against World Wrestling Federation Champion as Kanyon square off against The Crippler Chris Benoit. All that and a whole lot more tonight on Smackdown!”
The Undertaker’s music plays and the Man from the Darkside comes down with Paul Bearer. Taker enters the ring and points over to the entrance way. Gangrel, Chris Daniels, Frank Shamrock and Vampiro all bring a casket down to ringside. They reach under the ring and pull out the large symbol. They bring the symbol into the ring and leave the casket on the outside. The Lord of Darkness grabs a mic. Undertaker, “Last Thursday, I promised that before the King of the Ring either The Rock or Chris Benoit would be sacrificed. I am a man of my word, and in a few moments, me and my Ministry will carry out that very sacrifice. Inside that casket is the carcass of either The Rock or Chris Benoit. I left it up to my Ministry to bring me the victim, so I hope that I am as surprised as you all are. Vince McMahon, if you are here tonight, now is your chance to come out and prevent this sacrifice.” The Taker waits for a moment. Undertaker, “Without any further anticipation, I’d like to get things underway.” The Undertaker goes over to the ropes and raises the lid of the casket. Vince McMahon pops up from inside the casket and nails The Undertaker in the head with a lead pipe! Chris Benoit, The Rock and CW Anderson all run down to the ring and jump the Ministry. McMahon slides in, mounts Taker, and pounds the Deadman with right hands. Team McMahon clears the ring of all of the Ministry accept for Frank Shamrock, the man who turned on Team McMahon just weeks earlier. CW stuns Shamrock with the Spinebuster. Benoit, The Rock and CW tie Frank to the symbol and raise it in the air. Cole, “Team McMahon have sacrificed the Judas, Frank Shamrock!” The Undertaker and the rest of the Ministry decline to help Frank Shamrock and head off to the locker room.
Break (8:15-8:30)
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are at ringside. Cole, “What a start to the broadcast, King! Frank Shamrock is sacrificed by his former comrades in Team McMahon! I know what that sacrifice feels like, and I for one am glad that one of the Ministry members has suffered it.” King, “I wish you’d have stayed on that symbol, Michael Cole.” A replay is shown of the events that just occurred in the opening minutes of Smackdown. The camera cuts to the locker room of Team McMahon.
Vince McMahon is standing with the Rock and Benoit. “Boys, I have a good feeling about King of The Ring after what went down tonight. Yes. Yes I have a feeling that at King of the Ring Team McMahon will be victorious in all of their matches. Benoit will beat the living sh*t out of that blond haired Canadian punk Edge.” Benoit is smiling at McMahon and says, “Vince Edge won’t know what hit him when I lock the Crossface on his punk-ass. And Kanyon I’ll show why they call me the real innovator of offence.” Vince says to a grinning Rock, “Rock, after beating D-Lo tonight than that bald-headed SOB Austin at King of the Ring you will beat the other finalist and become King of not just the Ring but King of Team McMahon.” “And Rock if..I mean when you do become King of the Ring you will get a guaranteed shot at the Title Monday Night on Raw.” The camera fades away to commercial as Team McMahon is left in the locker room smiling and nodding.

AJ Styles v. Low-Ki w. Jim Cornette
As we come back from the ring Low-Ki and Jim Cornette are already standing in the middle of the ring waiting for opponent AJ Styles. Styles music plays and he runs down to the ring to a big pop. But before the men start the match out comes Justin Liger. AJ Styles grabs a microphone and says to Liger, “ Liger, you turned your back on me to team with that fat piece of trash Jim Cornette. Well after beating your partner tonight I want a shot at your Light Heavyweight title. How about it if I beat your partner Low-Ki I get a shot at your title at the King of The Ring?” Liger nods a yes. As Styles turns around Low-Ki gives him a superkick from behind to the outside. Cornette jumps up onto the apron to distract the referee while Liger beats on Styles on the outside. After beating on him for a minute he throws Styles back into the ring. The referee signals for the bell to be rung and the match is officially underway. Both men tie up and Low-Ki gets the advantage with a kick to the midsection. Low-Ki grabs Styles and throws him into the corner. He runs at Styles but at the last moment Styles jumps up and flips Ki over into a sunset flip. The referee makes the count 1..and Low-Ki easily gets his shoulder up. As he gets up Styles propels him into the ropes. In the centre of the ring Styles takes Low-Ki down with a Japanese Armdrag sending Low-Ki to the mat. Styles jumps up onto the second rope and does a lionsault but Low-Ki gets his knees up. Both men get up and start exchanging punches and knife-edge chops. Low-Ki gets the advantage and shoots AJ into the ropes. AJ ducks but turns around and Ki gives him a Rocker Dropper and covers him. 1,2 and AJ gets his left shoulder up. Ki doesn’t stop and continues to beat on Styles for a while longer until he picks AJ up for a powerbomb and AJ reverses it into a hurricanrana. Both men are lying on the mat. AJ gets up first and goes to the top rope. He goes for the moonsault but Ki gets up but AJ lands on his feet. Ki turns around and gets planted with spinning heel kick. Sensing the end of the match AJ goes up to the top rope for a 450 splash. AJ connects with the splash but as he goes for the cover Liger jumps up on the apron. AJ goes over and gives Liger a spinning heel kick to the outside and as Liger gets up he connects with a suicide dive. The referee is yelling at Liger and with his back turned Cornette tries to hit AJ in the head with the tennis racket but AJ ducks and Jim hits Ki. AJ punches Cornette then gives him a corkscrew piledriver onto the tennis racket. As the referee turns around AJ covers Low-Ki. 1,2,3.
Winner at 12:34: AJ Styles-gets Light Heavyweight Title Match versus Justin Liger at King of the Ring
As AJ heads to the back Justin Liger grabs a microphone and says, “AJ, you wanna mess with me. Sunday at King of The Ring I will end your career for good. In a ladder match.” AJ nods in agreement as he stares a hole in Liger and Cornette is lying in the middle of the ring out cold.
Break (8:30-8:45)
We go to ringside we’re Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole are talking about the match that was just made for King of The Ring. “Well King it looks as if we’re going to have a Light Heavy Weight Title Ladder Match at King of The Ring.” “Yea Michael it’ll be good but don’t you wish the divas would have a ladder match so we can look up at them as they climb the ladders.” “I wish King. Coming up next is the second last King of the Ring quarter final match before King of The Ring. The Rock versus D-Lo Brown. I believe Kevin Kelly is standing by with the Great One. “And I believe you’re an idiot Michael,” the King says to Michael Cole.
Kevin Kelly is standing by with the Rock. “Rock, in just a few minutes you face D-Lo Brown in what might be one of the most important matches in your career.” The Rock asks, “Kevin Kelly why do you think the Rock’s Match with D-Ho Brown will be the most important match of his career?” “Well I assume…” “It doesn’t matter what you think you big fat ass Jenny Craig reject. Now get off of the Great One’s set before he takes this microphone turns the sumb**ch sideways and sticks it straight up your candy ass.” The camera shows Kevin Kelly running away. “ You see as much as the corporate champ hates to admit it this match is one of the most important of my career. You see if the Great One wins the match he will go on to King of The Ring and win. Becoming King of the Ring getting a title shot but most importantly the Rock will become the King of Team McMahon. AS far as D-Ho goes you Nation of Domination reject you better get ready to get your ass kicked by the corporate brahma bull. If you…(the crowd starts to chant along with him) the Rock thanks you very much.
The Rock v. D-Lo Brown-King of the Ring Quarterfinal Match
A CD scratches and “You’re looking at the real deal.” Out comes D-Lo Brown to a mixed reaction from the crowd. D-Lo goes up to every turnbuckle and does his pose. He goes to the last corner when IFFFFFFFFF YOUU SMEEEELLL WWWHHAAATTT THE ROCK IS COOKIN comes over the speakers. The Rock comes down the ramp to another mixed reaction. He and D-Lo start pummelling each other as the Rock enters the ring. The timekeeper rings the bell to signal the start of the King of The Ring quarterfinal match. The Rock quickly gets the upperhand and does his customary punching when he spits on his hand and slaps D-Lo out to the mat. D-Lo quickly gets back into the ring not wanting to get counted out and ties up with the Rock. The Rock launches D-Lo into the ropes and gives him an underhook suplex. D-Lo is lying in the middle of the ring and the Rock gets on top of him and starts giving him some boots to the midsection. The Rock picks D-Lo up and tries to give him a rock bottom but D-Lo gives the Rock a low blow and the Rock goes down to his knees. D-Lo runs to the ropes and comes off and gives the Rock a swinging neckbreaker. D-Lo goes for the cover and the Rock barely kicks out at 2. D-Lo starts yelling at the ref and continues to beat on the Rock. D-Lo beats on him for a couple of minutes until he makes a mistake a the Rock gives D-Lo a spinebuster. He goes for the sharpshooter. D-Lo has nowhere to go but hangs on for a while then the Rock gets frustrated and lets go of the hold. The Rock makes a mistake and turns his back to D-Lo. As he turns around he gets a Sky-High. D-Lo goes up to the top for the frog splash. But he doesn’t notice the Rock has gotten up and as he comes down he gets a boot to the stomach. The Rock gives D-Lo a Rock Bottom and goes for the Corporate Elbow but when the people start to cheer for him he just goes for the cover. 1,2,3.

Backstage the Coach is trying to interview Steve Austin who is sitting in his pick up truck about his King Of The Ring semi final with The Rock. ’’Mr Austin can i get your thought on your King Of The Ri (WHAT!). Coach why don’t you take your mic and piss off coz am conducting the interview son.
Now first off this Sunday at the King Of The Ring there will be only one winner and will be Stone Cold Steve Austin (WHAT). My semi final match is against you Rocky ( WHAT) and my friend you are gonna receive the worst beating of your life (WHAT) an ass whipping (WHAT) then am gonna stunner you (WHAT) pin you (WHAT) one (WHAT) two (WHAT) three (WHAT).Stone Cold Steve Austin advances to the King Of The Ring final (WHAT). Now in the final i could face Bill Goldberg (WHAT) who is a dangerous man (WHAT) he finished with the jackhammer (WHAT) now does that mean you like jack (WHAT) carjack (WHAT) do you like hammers (WHAT0 sledgehammers (WHAT) well Bill Goldberg if i face you this Sunday am gonna stunner your ass and pin you one (WHAT) two (WHAT).
Goldberg appears and nails Austin with a baseball bat and does a number on him. Goldberg then hits Austin with the jackhammer in the back of his pick up truck and he leaves him in a mess. Goldberg begins to bad mouth the Rattlesnake.
CW v. Edge
Before the match begins we are shown a video of the problems between Edge and Benoit and how CW has attacked Edge a few times. “Never Gonna Stop Now” hits and out walks Edge to a thunderous pop from the crown of 21 000 strong. Edge slides into the ring and salutes the crowd. CW is announced but does not show. Edge grows impatient and starts to walk up to the ramp and look for CW. Suddenly CW comes from behind and attacks Edge. He gives him a DDT onto the steel ramp and Edge is busted wide open. He rolls Edge down the ramp and throws the bloodied Edge into the ring. The match is officially underway but before Edge can even get an ounce of offence in Benoit runs down to the ring and beats on Edge with CW. Benoit goes outside and grabs two chairs and gives one to CW. The line Edge up (you can hear Cole screaming No NOT THIS) and give Edge a CONCERTO. Edge is left in the ring in a pool of his own blood knocked out unconscious. A group of officials run down to the ring as Raw goes to a commercial.

European Title Match
Hardcore Holly v. Chris Daniels ©
As we come back from the break Hardcore is waiting in the ring for Daniels. The arena goes dark and the Ministry’s music comes on as Daniels comes to the ring. The match starts off with Hardcore chopping Daniels in the corner. Hardcore whips him into the other ropes and gets a big boot on him. Daniels is about to fall down when Hardcore gives him a belly-to-back suplex. Hardcore goes for the cover 1,2 Daniels barely kicks out. Daniels gets up and gives Hardcore a low blow from behind. He follows that up with an underhook DDT. He locks Holly in a boston crab but Holly easily grabs the ropes. Both men tie up but Holly gets a boot in and gives Daniel and holds Daniels high up in the air in the suplex position then drops him. Holly goes up to the top waiting for Daniels to get up so he can give him a dropkick from the top but Daniels ducks as Holly jumps off. Daniels rolls Holly into a small package and Chris almost gets the win. Holly gets the upperhand after several minutes of back and forth wrestling and goes for the Alabama Slam but out of nowhere runs in the King of Old School Steve Corino. He distracts the referee enabling Daniels to register a low blow. Daniels bumps into the referee sending him into the corner. Corino jumps into the ring and gives Holly an Old School Expulsion. The ref gets up and Chris covers Holly. 1,2,3
Winner and still European Champ at 13:54: Chris Daniels
After the match Holly gets a mic and says “Steve you S.O.B. I have had enough of your shit. This Sunday you and me in a match at King of The Ring.”
Corino gets a mic and says.”I’ll do you one btter. Let’s make it an Old School Street Fight.” Holly reluctantly agrees. Corino says before leaving, “How do you like me now?”
Break (9:30-9:45)
The King and Cole are discussing the next match. “This is an important match as it is the last quarterfinal match for King of The Ring. The winner wrestles Goldberg in the semifinals.”
King of The Ring Quarter Final
DDP v. Undertaker w.Paul Bearer
DDP quickly gets the advantage in the match. He goes for a knife-edge chop but Undertaker grabs his hand and goes for old school by walking on the ropes and coming down with a chop. The Undertaker follows that up by whipping DDP into the ropes and giving him a scoop slam. Undertaker runs to the ropes comes off with a legdrop and goes for the cover. 1,2 DDP barely kicks out. Undertaker sets him up for the tombstone but DDp slides out and gives the undertaker a chop block to the knee. He gets the Undertaker in a Half Boston Crab but Undertaker gets to the ropes with the help of Paul Bearer who pulled his hand. DDP gets up and the Undertaker turns around straight into a diamond cutter. Paul Bearer throws the ref out of the ring as he was about to count to 3. Undertaker grabs a chair and is about to clobber DDP when Vince McMahon runs down with a lead pipe in his hand. He almost decapitates the Undertaker. The ref gets back up and sees the Undertaker laid out. DDP covers the Undertaker 1,2,3.
Winner 8:45 and advancing to semifinals: DDP
Vince walks to the back with a smile on his face.
We go to a locker room we’re we see Lea Meow showering. She comes out and we can see everything but her boobs. She says to the camera “My lover is coming nesxt week he will be here. He will come to reing supreme over a few certain people who did not take the opportunity to hire me as their manager.” And she throws her towel off as she turns around.

HeavyWeight Title Match
Kanyon v. Chris Benoit ©
“Who better than Kanyon’’ hits as Chris Kanyon comes to the ring to a great reaction. Kanyon warms up and prepares himself for the crippler. Chris Benoit and Vince McMahon make their way down the aisle to a huge amount of heat Mr. McMahon joins the commentary team as the bell sounds and the match gets under way. Benoit immediately takes Kanyon down with a clothesline followed by a failed attempt with the crossface. Benoit throws Kanyon to the outside and immediately works on his shoulder. McMahon is praising Benoit as he unleashes on Kanyon right infront of the commentary table. Benoit suplexes Kanyon on the outside and begins to work on his legs. Benoit picks Kanyon up and go for a clothesline, but Kanyon ducks and nails a clothesline of his own. Kanyon throws Benoit back into the ring and unleashes with a series of knife-edge chops. Kanyon then nails Benoit with a belly-to-belly suplex but only gets a 2 count. Kanyon then locks a figure four on the champion who struggles to the ropes. Kanyon then nails Benoit with a ddt for another 2 count and then follows up with a number of 2 counts. Kanyon goes for another figure four but it is reversed and Kanyon just about makes it to the ropes. Benoit picks up Kanyon and nails 10 belly-to-back german suplexes. Benoit then locks on a sharpshooter and Kanyon barely makes it to the ropes. Benoit than drags Kanyon outside and they begin to brawl again infront of the announcers table. Kanyon goes for a spear but Benoit moves and Kanyon nails Earl Hebner with it. Benoit than grabs a chair and throws it into the ring, Benoit then drags Kanyon into the ring and swigs at him with the chair, Kanyon ducks and the chair is on the canvas. Kanyon nails the flat-liner on Benoit onto the chair and covers Benoit. The ref is back in the ring and makes the count as McMahon looks on in horror.1...2...Benoit kicks out. Kanyon goes for another flat-liner but Benoit low blows him and applies the crippler crossface. Kanyon reaches for the ropes but he is dead centre in the middle of the ring and is forced to tap.
Winner of the match by submission in 12:05 Chris Benoit.
McMahon salutes Benoit from the announcers table as Benoit does a number over Kanyon with the chair. Edge then runs-in and goes for a spear on Benoit, But Benoit once again moves and Edge nails Earl Hebner with a spear. Edge get up and is nailed with the chair from Benoit. McMahon gets in the and celebrates with the crippler. The bell tolls and the arena goes black. The lights come back on and the Ministry come out with someone with a black robe and hood on. and the Ministry symbol. The Undertaker gets on the mic and says “Well Vince you seem to have been busy tonight. But remember I guaranteed I would sacrifice the Rock or Benoit. Well I couldn’t do that but instead I did better. You see I was sitting in the back when who but Linda McMahon walked by. So I thought what better way to get at McMahon than through his family. So Vince I hope you realize this is what will happen to you on Sunday.” The Ministry then take the robe and hood off and sacrifice Linda on the cross as McMahon and Benoit look on in horror.
Cole and King scream “Oh my God what will Vince do? The Undertaker has crossed the line. He brought his family into this. What will happen on Sunday. Who will win the light heavyweight championsip, who will become King of The Ring and more importantly what will be the fate of the WWF?”
The show goes off the air with Vince looking like he’s gone crazy Linda screaming and Undertaker standing with a diabolical smile on his face.
