JR, “It is the first PPV of the new year and one of the biggest we ever put on. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Jim Ross and with me as always is Jerry Lawler and we are live from the Fleet Center in Boston! This is the Royal Rumble.” King, “I’ve never been so excited. The Royal Rumble is my favorite PPV and this year, the winner is a tough one to call, but before the Rumble, JR. We have the World Title match between Kurt Angle and Jerry Lynn.” JR, “That should be a classic and I just hope the rest of those fool’s in Ric Flair’s camp stay out of that match. If Jerry Lynn is so damn good, which their is no doubting that. How about he proves it tonight and beats the best in the bussiness?” King, “I for once, am routing for Kurt Angle. I don’t like him but what the heck, rather have a Olympic Hero be our champion, that a man coming from Bingo Hall’s R’us!” JR, “You got that right. Also tonight, the WWF Tag Team Championship are the line, Kronik defend against the returning, Dudley Boyz!” King, “But tell them JR about the GM!” JR, “Probably the question asked by everyone who is the General Manager will be answered, here tonight! That’s right, the General Manager has a announcement that will rock the bussiness and the Royal Rumble match itself, I have a feeling that this maybe one of those big ones!” King, “We are about to be joined by...the east side Puppies!” JR, “What?” King, “Leia Meow, JR!” JR, “This was scheduled to be Chavo Guerrero vs Tajiri but do to Rey JR. being injured on Smackdown. The match has been changed to Kid Kash vs The Amazing Red vs Tajiri in a 3 way Dance rules match and this is how Tajiri was put into this match!” [Earlier today] Leia Meow is shown stepping into the General Manager’s office but the camera does not catch a image of the GM, only of Leia Meow through the semi open door. Leia says, “Well, Mr. GM...Tajiri is the number one contender and my client deserves to carry that belt. Kid Kash and Red don’t deserve squat. So how about, allowing him to be part of the match and If he was to loose, which will not happen under my eyes...He is no longer the #1 contender.” The GM is heard saying, “Missy, I’ll tell you what. He will be part of the match but If he looses, he won’t be #1 contender any longer and to top that, he won’t get a Title shot against Chavo never!” Leia Meow is surprised and walks out but not before saying, “It’s men like you that make us women...sick!” [Back to the show] JR, “Folk’s that voice was rather familiar and I would be surprised to see that person here.” King, “JR, how do you know who he is? Frankly, I don’t have any idea who he is and I don’t like him, nobody talks to Leia Meow that way.” Cruserweight 3 way dance match for #1 Contendership Yoshijiro Tajiri with Leia Meow versus Kid Kash versus The Amazing Red When the camera cuts back to the screen Amazing Red and Kid Kash are seen standing in the ring. In this corner, from Johnston City, Tennessee, weighing in at 202lbs...Kid Kash!” Kash poses for the fans. Finkel, “And his opponent, weighing in at...” Tajiri’s music interrupts the proceedings and Leia Meow leads Tajiri onto the stage. Meow, “This timeslot is reserved for Tajiri challenging Chavo Guerrero to a Cruiserweight Title match. Tajiri is already the Number One Conteder, so how come these two have been scheduled to compete tonight for a Cruiserweight Title shot?” Finkel receives a message through his ear-piece. Finkel, “Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been informed that the following match is now officially a Triple Threat Match in which the winner will become the Number One Contender for the Cruiserweight Title.” Tajiri runs down the ramp as the Amazing Red and Kid Kash intercept him with some punches. He then whips Amazing Red off of the ropes but is caught with a Clothesline. Amazing Red stalks Tajiri but the Japanese Buzzsaw delivers the MIST!! Amazing Red ducks and the referee is blinded by the fluid. Then suddenly a mysterious figure enters the ring with a steel chair!! IT’S JUSHIN LIGER!! JR, “OH MY GOD!! Look who it is!” King, “What is Jushin Liger doing in the WWF?” Liger takes down Kid Kash with a CHAIR SHOT!! He then knifes the chair into Amazing Red’s gut and brings it down hard across his back. Mark Lloyd, “Edge, a lot of things have happened in the WWF ever since this new year has come upon us. There seem’s to be no stopping, Ric Flair’s plan of a Corporate Takeover and most importantly, the addition of a new General Manager. But tonight is not about that, It’s about the Royal Rumble...Edge if you or any other superstar wins, the person get’s a shot at the WWF Title at Wrestlemania, the showcase of the immortals, your thought’s on that?” Edge, “Mark, tonight is one of those special ones, that I’ve named the biggest night of my life. I go tonight into the Rumble not as another superstar but as a threat to the other 29 men, that will step into the ring with me. It has been my child hood dream to headline Wrestlemania and It would be a honor to do such a thing after beating 29 other men for a chance to go face, either Kurt Angle or Jerry Lynn or whoever at Wrestlemania! Now I know It’s not going to be easy and in the condition this company is in, it will be tough. I’ve heard the rumors of a big surprise and a lot of other surprises concerning the Rumble match, well I say bring it. ‘Cause these Edgeheads watching here in this arena and the millions worldwide, know that I am always up for a good challenge, I have overcome the odd’s before and I will do it again. Cole, “Rico, later on tonight you will find yourself in the corner of Kronik when they defend their Tag Team Titles against the Dudley Boyz. The Dudleyz are one of the most decorated teams in professional wrestling. They’ve been to WCW, ECW and now they return to the WWF. Kronik’s Tag Team Title reign is in severe jeopardy.” Rico, “Severe jeopardy? The only people in severe jeopardy are the Dudley Boyz! I came to the WWF and moulded Kronik into one of the most skilled, formidable Tag Teams in history. I’ve worked too hard, put in too much effort for those walking fashion disasters to ruin the greatest Tag Team title reign that this industry has ever seen.” [ A video package is shown of the night where Linda Mcmahon arrived in the arena and brought D’Von and Buh Buh Ray Dudley back to the WWF. Their ceremony was interrupted by Kronik, since then their rivalry has gone up scale and the question here tonight is, will the Dudley Boyz be able to capture Tag Team Gold for the 9th time or will the Towers of Destruction reign supreme!?” ] WWF Tag Team Title Match The Dudley Boyz versus Kronik (Champions) with Rico The D-Bombs drop and the Dudleyz head through a curtain with a table. Ever since, I became General Manager. I’ve made some phone calls to some friends and believe me, I wont dissapoint you. You mighy doubt me, some of you might think, I’m full of it. Tonight, I prove everyone wrong and a new era in this company begins. Just like tonight, the Road to Wrestlemania has begun, the Piper-Mcmahon era has just started, which by the way, does not include Ric Flair. So to all a great night and enjoy the show.” Hot Rod’s music plays and Roddy Piper salutes the fans, before climbing out of the ring and heading up the ramp to a great ovation.
