I'm Jordan Smith and I currently live in Austin, Texas but am originally from San Antonio, TX. I'm in love with the Bay Area, California. San Francisco holds a special place in my heart, such a unique community there. I'm fortunate enough to call myself a Texas Tech Alumni and proudly support my Red Raiders on game day, Wreck Em'! I also enjoy comics and superheroes, art shows, music festivals, fusion foods, wildly obsessed with eating anything involving pineapples, Oh! and Pizza.
Wrestling started for me when I was 8 years old. I remember my older sister clamoring about this beer swilling redneck that was such a bad ass. If my sister was hooked then it had to be worth checking out. I flipped through the channels in search for a man she called Stone Cold Steve Austin. What I saw changed everything, Stone Cold was stomping a mudhole into his boss. I was bit by the wrestling bug since day one.
While I love the Rattlesnake, my WWE Mount Rushmore consists of Shawn Michaels, The Rock, John Cena, Ric Flair and Macho Man Randy Savage. I didn't make wrestling into a weekly obsession until after Wrestlemania 2000 when the McMahon-Helmsley era was running rampart. I distinctly remember being enamored with WWE's women's division. It was during this time that 2 superstars that were so captivating to me made their debuts. Trish and Lita are two of my all time favorites. While I respected Lita for her ability, it was the Quintessential Diva that turned my love of wrestling into a new found heights as I became an advocate for Women's wrestling.
There are so many wrestling moments that I feel are just fantastic such as Rock VS Hogan 18, and my all time favorite Shawn Michaels winning the title at Wrestlemania XII. I would be remiss to say that some of my favorite moments of wrestling are currently unfolding on TV now as we have perhaps the greatest amount of talent WWE has ever had in Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks, Finn Balor, John Cena, AJ Styles, Charlotte and Seth Rollins. That's just to name a few.
I hope that guys enjoy.
