Backstage News on Brock Lesnar’s Future, Update on ROH Stars to WWE

– All signs point to Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards no longer being under contract to Ring of Honor. Both men are expected to be at the WWE Performance Center in September for another weekend-long talent evaluation camp.

– Brock Lesnar is not expected back on WWE TV until late December or early January 2014, in time for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. At one point, WWE officials were looking at doing Lesnar vs. CM Punk at the Hell In a Cell pay-per-view but they have been backing away from those plans as of late.

  1. Well of course they would have to back away from those plans as his contract only allows 3 ppv appearances and since he already did two ppvs, only one left is WM30, so obviously he won’t be seen at the Rumble or EC.

  2. Man, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are incredible wrestlers; they remind me of young Chris Benoits. While I’d love to see them in WWE, I have a strong feeling that their talents will just get misused. If it’s money they’re after, then they should go to WWE; otherwise if they want to display their awesome wrestling abilities, then they should stay in ROH.

  3. This is what I hate about hiring these guys with special stipulations in their contracts. They want the BIG matches but don’t want to do anything else. They don’t want to earn their spots anymore. And WWE is dumb enough to keep hiring guys like these while overlooking the talent that busts their butts off night after night.

    • Brock does not need to earn his spot. He sells and has a proven track record established already. After watching the build up to CM Punk vs Lesnar. Any one knows that Brock Lesnar equals $$

      • There are guys who go out there and deliver night after night who have also proven themselves. Brock is just another of those guys who wants to just take from the business but gives nothing back.

  4. i am a brock lesnar die hard fan but honestly i think the royal rumble would be a great way to see if he has what it takes to be champ or to challenge the champ for a title shot either way i hope to see him become champ again
