- We noted before Colt Cabana revealed on Steve Austin’s podcast that he was scheduled for a WWE announcers tryout soon but then downplayed the reports on Twitter. Despite Cabana saying “no WWE for me”, word within WWE is that he’s still scheduled for a tryout some time in November.

- CM Punk was written into plans for last Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings but was pulled because he’s banged up and officials didn’t want him to get injured any more going into tonight’s Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.

Word going around WWE creative is that Punk is going into the pay-per-view hurt and that’s probably going to affect how his match with Ryback and Paul Heyman is booked tonight. Tonight’s match is not scheduled to be the end of the Punk vs. Heyman feud.
