Brother Allegedly Kills Sister with Wrestling Moves, WWE Issues Statement

– Five-year old Viloude Louis was killed by her 13 year old brother after he allegedly used wrestling moves that he learned from TV. The 13 year old told police that he was wrestling with the victim and used “WWE” style wrestling moves.

Viloude’s brother, Devalon Armstrong, allegedly slammed his sister onto a bed and beat her. She suffered multiple injuries including broken ribs, internal bleeding and lacerations of the liver. The boy called police after his sister stopped breathing. Paramedics were teaching him over the phone how to use CPR to keep her alive but she died shortly after police arrived and paramedics were unable to revive her.

Devalon has been charged with second degree murder.

WWE issued a statement on the incident:

“The death of Viloude Louis is a tragedy, and our condolences go out to her family.

WWE urges restraint in reporting this unfortunate incident as if it were the result of a WWE wrestling move. As in similar cases, criminal intent to harm and a lack of parental supervision have been the factors resulting in a tragic death.

Authorities have already charged the accused with second degree murder and determined that this was not an accidental death due to a wrestling move.”

  1. It doesn’t really matter whether the wrestling caused her death or not.
    1. You don’t hurt others, especially family, unless it’s in self defense.
    2. You don’t hit girls.
    3. You don’t fight for “fun.”

  2. WTF, paramedics instead of sending someone over were teaching the kid CPR over the phone, this is why 9-1-1 is useless most times.

    • Ernie, paramedics will often try to work with the person over the phone while the ambulance is on the way. The article states that police and paramedics arrived at the scene soon after.

      • it was a 13, scared out his life year old boy, they should have asked to get some help from an adult before trying to teach him CPR.

        • So you would have preferred the 911 operator tell the kid to leave his sister laying there dying while he try to find an adult? In situations like this it is often minutes/seconds that make a difference.

You also sound like you are making excuses for a 13 year old kid who killed his sister…

  3. WWE is an act.. They dont really hurt one another.. When wrestling with another person ALWAYS keep the other person’s health in mind.

    • They do hurt each other, try to fall on that mat and don’t get hurt, It’s not intentional or course, but the pain is real either they like it or not, look at Ziggler, he got a concussion for a move that had been done on him dozens of times, but that time it lander harder than usual.

  4. this is stupid if i was wwe i wouldnt even comment, this has nothing to do with them, even if wrestling wasnt around this would happen, kids mess around thats what they do. what should we blame every fight that kills someone on ufc? it just stupid. also im glad they didnt say what move…wwe would ban it
