– WWE announced that SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan will address the controversy around last night’s first-ever Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match, check out the following statement and tweet:
Ready to return to his role as SmackDown LIVE General Manager this Tuesday night, Daniel Bryan has made it crystal clear that he will address the controversial finish to the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match as his first order of business.
At the conclusion of the historic Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, it was James Ellsworth – not Carmella – who climbed to the top of the ladder and seized the coveted contract, tossing it down to The Princess of Staten Island for the underhanded victory.
Following the dubious finish, the returning SmackDown GM as well as SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon wasted no time in expressing their extreme disapproval over the duo’s win-stealing tactics.
