Dave Bautista Confirmed for Movie Role, Goldust Not Wrestling Cody at WM29

- As noted earlier, Dave Bautista was in talks to play “Drax The Destroyer” in Marvel Studios’ Guardians Of The Galaxy feature film. Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Bautista is now signed for the role.

James Gunn (Movie 43, Super) is attached to direct the project, and Chris Pratt (Zero Dark Thirty, Movie 43) is said to star in the film. The movie is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2014.

- As noted earlier, Goldust has been lobbying for a match against his brother Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania for some time now. Goldust provided an update, writing on Twitter, “Looks like i will be watching #WM29 this year from the comfort of my home. #newkidsontheblock ! Hope they know the opportunity they have!!! I might have to hit up @BookerT5x for a reunion against #rhodesscholars !!!”
