Mickie James

- Tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling will feature The Main Event Mafia vs. Aces & 8s in six-man action, the fallout from Dixie Carter and AJ Styles’ confrontation, Chris Sabin vs. Manik for the X Division Title plus another six-person match with Eric Young, ODB and Joseph Park vs. Robbie E, Jessie Godderz and a Knockout to be named.

- The TNA live event on September 20th in El Paso, Texas drew just 200 fans. The September 21st show from Tucson, Arizona drew 950 fans.

- Mickie James was reportedly offered $60,000 a year to stay with TNA but she turned it down. Mickie is currently charging $1,800 per indy appearance. Concert fees for Mickie and her band range from $3,750 to $5,000.

I wouldn’t pay $2 to see her in concert. 3-5K that’s just pitiful

That’s the price she wants the venue to pay her to play, not the price of the ticket. The venue will determine ticket prices.

Some venues pay you to play and then make their money off commissions, others charge bands to play and the band makes their money through commissions. That’s how the industry works.

I hate Country music so you couldn’t pay me to see her in concert.

Jessie Godderz? Seriously? Why don’t they sign Richard Hatch?

  • Brock Lesnar Fan

As a local indie promoter, all you need is simple math. At $10 a seat, can she bring in 200 people to cover her fee, hotel and airfare. My guess is she would bring in an extra 25 people to an indy show that usually draws 200. Therfore, I wouldn’t pay her anything. Even on an airfare, you would already be losing money.

Mickie James, take the TNA money and earn a college degree. For women, unfortunately, there isn’t a long-term career in wrestling.
