  1. So WWE is wanting GOLDBERG to come back to face Ryback at WrestleMania. And THE UNDERTAKER to put The Streak on the line against Lesnar. I have not come across ONE SINGLE FAN who wants to pay $60 for that PPV. And why should they? Both are matches we saw ten years ago, pretty much. (Come on, how different would GOLDBERG vs Ryback be, really, from GOLDBERG vs Lesnar? And I’m the only person I know who found THAT match more than disappointing) GOLDBERG HIMSELF said to a Miami Herald reporter a few months back that he isn’t interested in wrestling Ryback, and that if he did come back the only two guys he has a desire to compete against are Stone Cold… or THE UNDERTAKER. WWE apparently thinks that those “Goooooldberg!” chants mean that fans want to see GOLDBERG come back to take on Ryback. I think we all know THEY DON’T. All that means is that WWE fans have been able to tell almost from the start that Skip Sheffield’s character reboot is a painfully obvious attempt to profit from the real deal’s enduring popularity. No different than The Renegade was WCW’s poor attempt to drag out the recently-departed Warrior’s drawing power. That didn’t work out either, guys. Fans want to SEE the real deal, not an imitation, and trust me, they don’t want to see the real deal waste what is sure to be a one-match comeback wrestling the imitation. Likewise, fans don’t want to see THE PHENOM’s annual appearance wasted (sorry) on Lesnar, who nobody feels deserves it. Let Ryback face Sheamus, or Big Show – either would be a great match. Let Lesnar take on The Viper Randy Orton – that would be a terrific match. But GOLDBERG getting in the ring against THE DEMON OF DEATH VALLEY? THAT would be LEGENDARY. If you feel the same, we need to MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD.

    • Yep. I am a huge Mark Calaway fan. And a pretty big Bill Goldberg fan. And I guaran-damn-tee ya I am.FAR from the only UNDERTAKER fan who has wanted to see THE PHENOM vs GOLDBERG for ten years, and damn sure want THAT match rather than the either of the other two at WM XXX.
