Major Problems at TNA Live Event, Wrestlers Not Allowed to Compete

Jeff Hardy 2012

- The TNA live event in Cape Girardeau, Missouri started last night with a TNA agent coming out and announcing that Chris Sabin, Garett Bischoff, Jay Bradley, Wes Brisco, Gail Kim and Miss Tessmacher would not be allowed to compete by the Missouri Athletic Commission because they did not have licenses to wrestle.

Around 500 fans were in attendance for the 90 minute show. The card featured just 5 matches and 3 of those 5 featured the same four wrestlers. Quick results look like this:

* Bully Ray beat James Storm
* Devon beat Gunner
* Samoa Joe beat Bobby Roode
* Gunner and James Storm beat Ray and Devon
* Jeff Hardy beat Kurt Angle

TNA officials tried to make up for the problems by inviting all fans backstage after the show to meet wrestlers for free. However, Jeff Hardy charged $20 for a photo and fans could not get his autograph. This led to some of the people that paid $65 for VIP tickets to be upset that fans were getting what they paid for for free.

Jeff Hardy’s TNA Future Revealed, Busty New Velvet Sky Photos…

I’m shocked at Gail Kim and Chris Sabin, though Chris has been on the shelf so long, still, that’s their living. Bradley’s newish and the other 3 are throw away talent. Sad.

    • Idolizer

Fuck TNA. Total Nonsense Activity. Fuck TNA. For real.

  • Sarah Coulson

Jeff Hardy is a selfish punk..

    • Idolizer

He’s TNA… so what else is he?

      • allanmccann

    • Louisa Baton

I don’t know what to say except maybe someone has handed him a tab before and he’s weary lol. I’ve heard a celebrity claim that one time. Why would anyone pay $20 for his photo anyway? Do what my ma does and take a snapshot with your iPhone. He comes on tv enough just freeze and click.

      • Idolizer

        Poor man’s photo-op’ing by TV stills… how pathetic… figures you’re a TNA fan…

      • allanmccann

not to mention all the pics online and with photoshop you could make him huggin you if your really sad.

i never got why a picture or someone writing there name on something makes it special…i know who they are.

  • Jimmy dice

I bet they’ll be outta business soon

    • Idolizer

      No shit, sherlock…

  • Robert Medina

I agree with Jimmy dice, Tna won’t last very much longer. They never have any live programs. It’s all pre-taped at Tna studios in Fla.

  • Louisa Baton

Gail Kim is the only one out of them that has wrestled regularly. Chris, go get your license. The house show is mimicking the tv show lol. I feel like I’m seeing the same 10 guys and four women every week. Can I get the value of my boredom and waste of time back please? I don’t mean to be mean but I’m mad. They fired a lot of great people and kept the ones that don’t do anything. Joey, Matt, D Lo, Bruce, Tara, ODB, Rob Van Dam (In case you haven’t heard)and almost let go of Taz, Devon and Bully. Can you imagine what TNA would look like without them?

    • Idolizer

I’d LOVE to fuck Gail Kim, which is the only reason she should be in the WWE. She’s worthy, she’s eye candy and she’s better than anyone in TNA, hands down.

I was at the TNA Live event in St. Joseph, Missouri back in late June. I thought it was a good experience to be a part of. Yeah there was a lack of communication on when the arena doors and seating was opened. But overall, it was worth the money. If we wanted to go backstage to see the wrestlers, we had to pay $50. So Cape Girardeau got the best bargain for their money. But nothing is better than getting both Hebner’s autograph for $10. Bully Ray was advertised to show up but balked out. TNA said it was due to a medical emergency but there was an assumption that he didn’t want to be in St. Jospeh because they had 2 shows in Vegas the next night. As far as Hardy not offering autographs with the photo, I don’t blame him for that. Line would get longer, customers get frustrated with the wait, TNA loses money by customer leaving.

    • Idolizer

TNA going to Missouri is the equivalent of WWE going to Japan or something like that… it’s a big deal to them. LOL

  • fmdof

this is something that TNA should’ve taken care of before hand. in a mist of all their issues, dropping the ball like this is just unacceptable. As for Hardy charging 20 for a photo, thats something he should be doing at indy dates, not his promotion.

    • Mike Arienti

They released the guy (Bruce Pritchard) who was responsible for taking care of it. TNA has no business sense and a lack of creative direction. As bad as WWE can be sometimes, they don’t have hiccups like this.

  • Edynol

I’m laughing at all the TNA marks who say TNA is better than WWE. Man, I remember when people said TNA was going to run WWE out of business! Now look at them. I’d be surprised if they last the rest of the year. And good riddance once they’re gone. I bet Spike is kicking themselves now for letting RAW go.

  • Jay

    Jeff Harvey lol

  • Daniel Vollmer

Hardy charging for autographs? what a tool!

  • Anthony Iuliano

hardy needs money to buy more drugs
not to metion a new dog that he killed low life loser

  • Anthony Iuliano

tna is awful it will be draged down by hulk hogan and once sting contract is over he will be signing a contract with wwe to go up against the undertaker at wrestlemania

  • Laura

I was at the Cape Girardeau show. VIP Ticket holders got their picture made with Jeff Hardy for free and he signed autographs.
Also met everyone that was in the bldg that night. Everyone was professional and apologized for the oversight. Jeff Hardy was very courteous and friendly.

  • Terre Almeida

Eric Bischoff and both the hogan’ s need to go . and they need to find a highly skilled business person to take over the company…

they also need to stop hiring people from MMA… no offense…….
