Negativity Towards CM Punk Prior to Him Walking Out

Many people in WWE are “not unhappy” that CM Punk walked out on the company last week, according to Dave Meltzer. Meltzer stated in a recent installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that there we a lot of negativity towards Punk from several people in the company.

Meltzer also noted that the reason Vince McMahon wants Punk to stick around is because he feels there aren’t many top WWE Superstars in the company right now. As for why Punk walked out, Meltzer said there may not be just one specific reason.

As reported earlier, Punk was not excited to face Triple H at this year’s WrestleMania pay-per-view. With his contract expiring in July and people within the company not expecting him to re-sign, he likely knew the direction that the match would go in.

Many of the fans are not happy in the direction WWE are going in general!

Well if you hadn’t build up the current product around John Cena only then maybe this wouldn’t be the case.

  3. CM Punk… if only thinking you were good actually made it true… Somehow someone told him that coming out every single week and just listing the days he’s held a title is a promo or something. One of the worst people on the mic I’ve ever seen. CM Punk is a joke and they can just write another “pipe bomb” for someone else like they did for him… He probably just up and ran away even at the RUMORs that Kenta might sign. Who would watch CM Punk do his little girl slow soft version’s of all of Kenta’s moves if the real guy was there lol.
