A Six-Man Tag Team Match featuring Randy Orton, Sheamus and Ryback vs. The Shield is officially set for WrestleMania 29. The bout was made official by SmackDown General Manager Booker T on Friday’s show following weeks of vicious attacks between both tag team parties.
Following Sheamus and Orton’s victory over Team Rhodes Scholars, The Shield told the two former World Champions to find a partner to face them in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 29. Later, Big Show offered his services to be their tag team partner, but was informed that they had already selected Ryback.
The following four matches have been announced for the pay-per-view event taking place April 7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
* WWE Champion The Rock vs. John Cena
* World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger
* The Undertaker vs. CM Punk
* Randy Orton, Sheamus and Ryback vs. The Shield
