Original Plans for Brock Lesnar and Triple H, Early WM Buyrate News

Posted by DailyWrestlingNews.com on Wednesday, April 17th, 2013

Brock Lesnar

- It will be a few months before we get an official buyrate for the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view but F4Wonline.com reports that three different sources this past week stated that very early estimates do not look good. One number being floated around was “downright shocking.” WWE’s own internal projections were lowered substantially in the final week before the pay-per-view based on the Elimination Chamber buys coming in lower than expected.

- Original plans for Brock Lesnar and Triple H had them re-visiting the feud later this year, not doing a third match at Extreme Rules. The planned angle with The Rock and Brock Lesnar for the post-WrestleMania RAW that didn’t happen would have built to a SummerSlam match, not a WrestleMania XXX match as previously reported.

Regarding The Rock, there is a lot of concern, or maybe just paranoia, among people within WWE that he will never wrestle again.

That was one of the worst WM I have seen..Thank god for the certain websites that stream it, so you don’t waste your money on such crap…

Undertaker vs punk match should have been a buried alive or a casket match, when been a lot better. Brock vs hhh should of went 10 or 15 minutes longer with more items used, brock seem to stiff as well.

Cena vs rock should of went longer as well, there is no way the rock could keep the title especially if he is leaving. Rock should of just left the ring with out shaking Cena’s hand leaving an open question on their feud status. Had mr. Money in the bank cash in: as Cena is celebrating in the middle of the ring, and have them two go at it.

Problem with that theory, Dolph could not cash it in on Cena, as his MITB was for world heavyweight title. There would be no way for that to happen.

      • James Giampietro

The contract is for any championship he decides to cash it in on. He could of went after the WWE title if he wanted.

I wonder why the buyrate was so low……………….. couldn’t be that they fed us the EXACT same main event that was more predictable when we all knew the rock was shooting movies this summer and on the fact that John Cena is such a HORRIBLE in ring performer he has hurt the rock not once BUT TWICE first step in to fixing this bs is MAKE IT INTERESTING not give us that same bull we watched on raw the week before and those writer think we forget what happened last week well we will do the same thing this week not a wonder why profit is down its not hard to fix the problem here easy thing to do is FIRE THE WRITERS and get people with interesting ideas
