Possible RAW Role for Sting, WWE Considering Several Big WM XXX Matches

19

– With the drama that has unfolded within WWE in the past week, WWE creative is now looking at several different options for WrestleMania XXX. The first is a Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match with possibly the stipulation that Bryan gets a WWE World Heavyweight Title shot at Extreme Rules in Seattle. If Bryan ends up working Triple H at WrestleMania, they may put Sheamus in a match with Kane. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Batista vs. Randy Orton would still happen.

Another option is John Cena vs. Triple H, Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt and Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan in a three-way for the belt. The other option they are looking at is Sheamus vs. Triple H, Cena vs. Wyatt and Bryan vs. Orton vs. Batista in a three-way.

– The latest on Sting is that he still has not signed but the general feeling is that it’s a foregone conclusion that he’s coming in. While he’s not expected to be rushed into a match at WrestleMania XXX, word is that the working idea right now is for Sting to possibly be the new RAW General Manager.

  1. I know Sting is a Icon and had a legendary career but does anyone believe he will get respect form the majority of the WWE?

    • It’s definitely a legitimate question – and one I have pondered for a long time now, too…. I’d have to say yes, but WWE has dumped on major WCW players before…

      • From the sounds of this, I see it being more like how Bret Hart was treated upon his return. He might have a few matches (maybe against Vince for almost putting him under or whatever), but it’ll be a figurehead. I think Vince is smart enough to not bury him. With the internet as it is now, if Vince did, I think the WWE would have more problems than their CM Punk chants or the chants during the rumble.

        • sting may be over the hill but not like bret hes just pathetic now when it comes to in the ring but to be fair he had a bad stroke so its good he can ever walk.

          • Yeah, but taking bumps and chair shots for 20-30 years doesn’t help either. Look at Hogan, he can barely walk. I don’t think Sting would be able to have a match that would live up to the hype and to avoid being another broken down wrestler who hangs on too long, he should just be a speaking role.

  2. “the general feeling”…from who….”is that it’s a foregone conclusion that he’s coming in.” They’ve been saying that since 2011.

    • Yeah, enough of this s***… When Sting is signed, THEN and only then will I be looking for him to FINALLY be where he belongs – WWE TV.

      • lol how does he belong there hes had a 30 year career without steping foot in wwe and hes still one of the biggest legends there is. wwe doesnt make stars.. people like u are why punk left

        • No dumbass… Punk left because WWE thinks we want to be fed recycled legends and re-live the past… NOT ME.

  3. hahahaha – new GM? That’s RE-tarded. And everyone of those matches above STINKS. WM 30 is gonna be downright awful, and ONCE AGAIN the stars of the 80’s will PROVE (yet again) why they were the most entertaining EVER. Piper and Hogan (and possibly Mr. T and Orndorff) segment and warrior vs ryback will the best thing about this awful, awful ppv. LMAO at wee fans/kids today and their JUNK wrestling…it’s sad and funny.

    • warrior vs ryback best thing?? do u know what junk wrestling is cause thats it. whats so retarded about sting being gm hes like 54 lol hes pretty much done ringwise and should have been 6 years ago

  4. i think this sting thing is bull until i see or hear it from sting its bull to me i mean how many years has this been going on

  5. It looks like they have changed their mind about turning Sheamus heel now CM Punk has left. Good idea. WWE needs another top face now they have lost Punk and Sheamus returned at the right time.

I like the first option the most.

    • I agree. Not even sure why they were considering Bryan vs. Sheamus, unless Sheamus was going to join The Authority. I think Bryan and Triple H would be an awesome match with a lot on the line.

  6. I’m not sold on Sting but one thing I do know is that I am sick of CM Punk and his prima donna actions and attitude.
