Oscar asks… Are Edge and Christian real life brothers?
Before entering the WWE, the two were a highly successful tag team. They were known as “High Impact” and “The Suicide Blondes.” While in the WWE, they were known as Edge and Christian. They played an on-air role as brothers. However, the two are not brothers. They were close friends before entering the WWE.
Christopher asks… Is there any time line for the "undertakers" return? If so, will it be on RAW or SmackDown?
The Undertaker, after undergoing surgery to repair his torn biceps, wasn’t expected to be back in action until October. However, the WWE has released the official poster for September’s Unforgiven PPV, which features The Undertaker. The InDemand website also claims, in their Unforgiven PPV preview, that Undertaker will make his long awaited return at the PPV. We aren’t able to confirm this but one would expect him to make some form of return.
As far as where he will return, I would assume he’d make his return to SmackDown. With Edge being out of action, due to an injury as well, the SmackDown roster is in need of another main eventer.
Aaron asks… Do you think there's any real chance that Shawn Michaels could ever return to the unstoppable main eventer that he was in the attitude area, or is he a permanent Cena/Orton/Whoever else may come along, convincing jobber?
I think Michaels will receive a few main event slots, but as far as him being that unstoppable main eventer he was in the Attitude era; very unlikely. Don’t get me wrong, he can still give us the best matches on TV and PPV, but WWE is looking in to the future. Shawn Michaels legacy will always be one of the greatest. While being one of the greatest, he must help the younger guys; meaning putting people over like Cena and Orton. He will continue doing what he does best, and that is being the showstopper.
Marcus asks… Do you think the WWE will induct Chris Benoit into the hall of fame?
I could see them going either way. Considering the heinous acts of crime that he committed, that may have ruined any legacy he had. You can’t take away what he has done in the business. He gave his entire life to wrestling. He helped build up the younger guys, like MVP. Time will only tell, if the fans and the WWE can forgive him for what he did. It’s hard to answer this one because of the facts that have surfaced around the murders of his wife and son, Nancy and Daniel Benoit.
Errun asks… Do u know of any wrestlers that are planning to make a return to the WWE?
The biggest name of the small list would be Chris Jericho. Although Chris hasn’t confirmed his return to the WWE, he has cited that he is training to return. Whether that is a return in WWE or a debut in TNA, has yet to be seen. WWE reached out to Jericho about making a return this fall season.
As far as names like Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar go, I don’t think we will ever see those two in a WWE ring again. Goldberg always says, never say never.
Lisa asks… Where is Goldberg and what’s he doing?
Goldberg has shown interest in making a return to wrestling he had negotiations with TNA. Both sides discontinued discussions when money became a factor, TNA felt Goldberg was asking for too much.
Goldberg has been commentating several Mixed Martial Arts fights, notably the MMA debut of Brock Lesnar when he defeated Min Soo Kim at K1 Dynamite USA!! When asked if he had interest in becoming an MMA fighter, Goldberg responded by saying, "I'd love to, especially if I was 21 or even 29, but these guys are so far ahead of me in terms of experience. I never say never, though. But I don’t see myself stopping my movies, my shows, my commentating, or being a dad to do that."
Kenya Dixon asks… Where do I go to sign up for the opportunity to fight in he UFC arena?
First and foremost, you must find a local MMA gym. These gyms are spread throughout the United States. A good MMA gym offers jujitsu, kickboxing and wrestling. Make sure you are in very good shape and be prepared for injuries; MMA is a full-contact sport.
Secondly, start going to local MMA events. Watch MMA events on cable and PPV learn new techniques. Work your way up in to local MMA events, start building up knowledge as you fight. The chances of making it in to the UFC are slim to none, it takes a lot of sweat and pain to become an established fighter. Make a name for yourself in the underground world, only a handful of fighters go undefeated. Those who lose a few fights in row, rarely succeed.
