Darrell asks… Will ECW bring in a mid-card title (TV Title or Tag Team Titles)?
Earlier in the year there was talk of bringing in a set of Tag Team Titles, as they also had plans of building up their tag team division. Since those talks, everything has died down and the liklihood of having any other titles, other than the ECW title, is very unlikely.
Although, with ECW getting their extension on the Sci Fi network, talks may build up again. Stay tuned to ProWrestling.com for any updates we may have in the coming months.
Albert asks… Is there any chance of WWE bringing in guys from TNA? TNA is known for signing talent that leaves WWE.
If you take a look at TNA’s roster, a majority of released WWE stars end up signing there. However, WWE has shown no interest in trying to sign any TNA talent. There were talks of Samoa Joe possibly leaving TNA for WWE. There was no truth to those reports and I doubt we’ll see any major TNA star heading to WWE any time soon.
Dale asks… Who is the Boogey Man, what’s his real name?
Boogeyman’s real name is Martin Wright. The Boogeyman was first featured in the fourth season of WWE’s Tough Enough competition. He was one of the eight finalists chosen. After surviving the first day of eliminations, he admitted that he was over 40 years old, which was five years over the competitions cut off point. He, originally, claimed he was 30.
Jorge asks… Do you guys think that TNA will ever be able to compete with WWE in terms of popularity, TV ratings, merchendise sales, and money?
I don’t see TNA competing with WWE in the near future. Their product has been inconsistent, despite gaining the second hour of their weekly Telecast of iMPACT! If they clean up their booking and put together better shows, they could begin to compete with WWE’s smaller brand, ECW. The next three years will tell us everything, in terms of competition.
Ron asks… Do you think The Big Show or Paul Heyman will make their way to TNA?
In regards to The Big Show, I wouldn’t count on it. Latest word on his future was that he was training to enter the world of professional Boxing. He has cut a tremendous amount of weight since his departure from WWE.
Paul Heyman to TNA? Anything is possible. There are no talks between the two sides at this point but it’s possible later on down the road.
