The Rock Avoids Surgery, Batista Attending Fights Tonight, Fandango Note

Posted by Steve Carrier on Saturday, April 13th, 2013

- WWE Superstar Fandango and movie site had a brief Twitter exchange yesterday after a fan Tweet-hummed Fandango’s theme to the movie site’s Twitter account.

@CODEX911 @WWE We think you are looking for @WWEFandango but thanks for the tweet!

@Fandango We need to talk

- Batista will be walking bantamweight boxer Nonito Donaire Jr. to the ring tonight for his fight against Guillermo Rigondeaux at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

- The Rock commented on avoiding surgery for his injuries suffered at WrestleMania, writing on Twitter, “Injury update: Dr’s & I elected not to reattach tendons to my pelvis. They’ll just scar up. Now I prep to shoot HERCULES #TheDemiGOD”

    That doesn’t sound so great. Laproscopy not available? I’m confused.

    • Erwfan Erw

      he wanted to avoid surgery because it would have cost the production of his next movie millions if he had to have surgery. when actors sign on to big movies they productions have to pay them to sign on and they have so long to use them so much for a bond to use them for a set time. and if that time passes they still atleast get that money and dont have to be used because they may have started working on something else.

    So The Rock is good, but instead of at least giving a recorded message to WWE, he quickly leaves to his real family, Hollywood.

    • Paul Farrell

      You can’t blame him, can you? Moron…

    i dont understand why people expect so much from the rock, like damn can u let the man breathe? does he have to be full time for u to expect him? smh, real fans support no matter what.
