The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) has announced plans to promote events in Canada, Brazil, England and Eastern Europe. They have signed a three year deal with IMG Media to distribute the product to a broader audience.
“Even though WSOF is less than a year old, it has been exceptionally well-received and has attracted top quality fighters, both experienced and up and coming,” said IMG Media Senior Vice President Hillary Mandel.
The expansion calls for an additional two to four events for 2014 and 2015. Currently, they have a TV deal with the NBC Sports Network that requires a minimum six events per year.
