CHRIS SABIN

Detroit’s finest, Chris Sabin is a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, TNA Tag Team Champion, and currently holds the record for the most amount of X-Division Championship reigns at eight. He also happens to hold the record for most days spent as an X-Division Champion, at 432.

His tangible accomplishments aside, Sabin gave a staggering TWELVE years of his life to Impact Wrestling. Very few people, including his long-time tag partner Alex Shelley as well as many legends on this list, don’t have that kind of tenure anywhere in the world.

The Motor City Machine Guns were one of the greatest tag teams in the history of TNA Wrestling, but more than that, Sabin found success at every single level of the game. He helped further the X-Division to some of its best matches, he had classic tag team rivalries – who can forget that Best of Five series with Beer Money? – and he even proved (along with many others) that size didn’t matter, capturing the world championship at the pinnacle of his career.
