7/8 WWE Raw Viewership Drops Going Into Extreme Rules, Home Run Derby Shakes Up Cable Rankings

The July 8th edition of Monday Night Raw was watched by an average of 2.35 million viewers, dropping 5.8% (nearly 150,000 people) from last week’s substantial turnaround with Paul Heyman behind the helm for the very first time.

If there’s any good news this week it’s that the numbers were almost shockingly consistent. The hourly breakdown shows 2.38 million viewers in the first hour, 2.35 million in the second hour, and 2.32 million for the third and final hour.

Monday Night Raw took spots #5-7 on cable television this Monday, well below normal, but the competition wasn’t exactly something they’ll have to deal with every week going forward. The 2019 MLB Home Run Derby took the top two spots on ESPN, followed by the 2019 MLB All-Star Celebrity Game at #4, also on ESPN. VH1’s Love & Hop Hop Atlanta came in at #3 with a 0.85 rating in adults 18-49.
