The biggest problem facing Andrade has nothing to do with him, but with the consistency of how he is booked. He has strong matches with everyone when given the opportunity. Admittedly he’s not the smoothest promo yet, but Zelina Vega is an exceptionally good manager, and El Idolo has more than enough natural charisma/machismo to carry himself in any role.
I still like Andrade as a possible WWE Championship contender, even if he’s not been presented as a “top star” since arriving on the main roster. They have a bit more room to work with on Smackdown, and can afford to take some risks. With Lesnar as Universal Champion and an Undertaker match likely, all people are going to be looking for from Kofi Kingston at SummerSlam is a great, fast-paced world title match. Obviously he can have that with Andrade in his sleep.
