Hangman Page (c) & Kenny Omega (c) def. The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Greyson) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships. A really good match, maybe the best The Dark Order has looked so far since arriving, including the post-match segment. Hangman & Omega are physically incapable of having bad tag team matches, it seems. They got the win with the Buckshot Lariat/V-Trigger combo.
— Brodie Lee got pissed off after the match and started shoving around Uno and Greyson. He summoned about a dozen masked goons who quickly jumped the barricade and stormed the ring. The Young Bucks ran out to make the save, and FTR joined in the brawl to even the odds and send The Dark Order packing.
— Diamante appeared and said she’s been grinding it out on the indies for a decade, and is willing to do anything to win her match against Hikaru Shida. She’s unsigned talent, and says a win over the current champion guarantees her that spot.
AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida def. Diamante in a non-title match.
— Vickie Guerrero and Nyla Rose were backstage to find out who her opponent in the upcoming women’s tag team tournament will be. Ariana Andrews (fka Cameron of the Funkadactyls and WWE Tough Enough infamy) randomly showed up to reveal herself as Nyla’s partner…
— MJF came out to the ring, which was decorated to look like a political campaign rally. He talked for ages about how we as fans are stupid, but still deserve better than the so-called “revolution” that Jon Moxley has been leading as AEW World Champion. He called him “Dictator Jon” and claimed he only gets TV time and opportunities because he’s from “the land of Titans”, and people think the ratings will drop without him. MJF says he gets better ratings on average than the champ, who doesn’t want you to know that because he’s scared of being upstaged, week after week. MJF officially announces his candidacy for AEW World Champion, challenging Moxley to a title match at AEW ALL OUT.
— Taz cut a promo in Gorilla about how big all of Brian Cage’s muscle groups are, and turned into Jesse Ventura for a few seconds. It was excellent. Ricky Starks then said he’s everything our baby mama’s wish we were, and the reason he joined up with Taz is simple – when a man who taped out an Olympic gold medalist tells you do something, baby, you do it!
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley & Darby Allin def. FTW Champion Brian Cage & Ricky Starks in a Tornado Tag Team Match. A wild brawl that saw Allin double foot stomp a skateboard covered in thumbtacks across the back of Starks to win.
— The show ended with Moxley and Darby Allin staring each other down with murderous looks in their eyes, as Tony Schiavone announced that they will go one-on-one for the world title next week!
