In a storyline update to this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the company sent out a tweet yesterday announcing that All Elite Wrestling has fined Jimmy Havoc $10,000 for using a staple gun against several wrestlers during the Diamond Dozen Battle Royale.
Havoc used the foreign object out of frustration after being eliminated from the battle royale, and the tweet noted that he would also be fined an additional $10,000 for every time he uses the weapon going forward.
One would think that if he was involved in any kind of “Lights Out” unsanctioned fights, that the use of the staple gun would not result in a fine, but that has not yet been specified. The battle royale was won by Hangman Page and MJF, who will face off next week to determine which star gets the first ever AEW Diamond Ring.
AEW Management has reprimanded Jimmy Havoc for utilizing a staple gun on Wednesday night in Indianapolis.
