Top independent star Ethan Page made his debut on this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, surprising many as there was virtually no mention of him when Mexico City television taping reports leaked last month.
Technically, Page has appeared for the promotion in the past, but under the name Chandler Park. He was briefly brought to television to work an angle with “The Monster” Abyss, who will be going into the Impact Hall of Fame next weekend, and his alter ego Joseph Park. This was the first time “All Ego” was able to work as himself, and it looks like he’s going to be used as a series regular going forward.
Page made his debut coming to the aid of Matt Sydal during a singles match against Rich Swann, opening the night. Later in the evening it was revealed that the two would be working together as a tag team going forward. In fact, Sydal has officially challenged Swann to find a partner from anywhere in the world for a big tag match at Bound for Glory next Sunday in New York!
