Several weeks ago, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan made a bold claim on Twitter, saying, “I’m about ready to jump on a plane and fly to Japan and get involved with that Bullet Club, man. I’m so excited about those kids.”
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, negotiations did actually take place, several months ago, between Hulk Hogan and Bullet Club, which would have seen Hogan join the group, but the deal never happened.
The Observer notes the feeling is that Hogan wanted too much money to join The Club, and he would likely bail on the group if and when WWE decides to bring him back.
In the past, members of Bullet Club have said the only two outside names they would ever want in the Club is either Hulk Hogan or CM Punk, so the group was definitely interested in having The Hulkster don Club gear. But the hesitation to work with Hogan has always been present for companies outside of WWE, for example, TNA and the rumored Jimmy Hart project, which Hogan was set to be the face of, before bailing on the group to return to WWE.
