Backstage News on Brock Lesnar’s Next WWE Match & How Long He’s Expected To Be Gone

If you had gotten used to Brock Lesnar being arround consistently over the last few months, we’ve got some bad news. The current WWE Champion is apparently not scheduled to compete until the Royal Rumble pay-per-view at the end of January, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Lesnar successfully defended his title against Rey Mysterio last weekend at Survivor Series, but was not on Raw the following night, while Mysterio went on to win a Fatal 4-Way match and subsequently capture the U.S. Championship from AJ Styles.

It’s unlikely the “Beast Incarnate” will be back on television until they are ready to start the build towards the Rumble, although it’s worth noting that in the past we have seen WWE bring Lesnar back to help boost ticket sales and TV ratings during the holiday season.
