With the WWE WrestleMania 34 card taking shape, and the women’s division currently featuring Charlotte Flair vs Asuka and Ronda Rousey in a tag team match at the PPV, one top Raw star who remains without a match is Bayley. The former Raw Women’s Champion is expected to be facing Sasha Banks in a singles match at WrestleMania, but that bout has yet to be officially announced.
Bayley recently spoke with The Hype Magazine about WrestleMania 34, and during the interview, she revealed she was pushing WWE officials to move forward with a Four Horsewomen of WWE vs Four Horsewomen of UFC match for this year’s PPV in New Orleans.
Back in the summer of 2017, WWE began discussing the possibility of a WrestleMania 34 match featuring Bayley, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, Ronda Rousey and Mirna Shafir, but plans changed and ultimately the match was never realized.
“Anybody right now would be cool, but I think a storyline with Ronda Rousey would be ideal,” Bayley told The Hype Magazine. “I am really pushing for the Four Horsewomen storyline, and we have been waiting for it since the Mae Young Classic. Personally, it would be a lot of fun and draw an audience. After WrestleMania, we will see who walks out as champion and then I can set my eyes on that person and go after it again.”
On a possible match against Ronda Rousey at some point in the future, Bayley had the following to say:
I would like it to be in an old fashion wrestling match, but maybe an Ironwomen match. To see if she really has what it takes to be in a ring for that length of time.
