Big Title Match Set for NXT UK Television Debut on the WWE Network; When Will the Show Air in the US?

As previously reported, the NXT UK brand will finally be coming to the WWE Network as the very first episode is scheduled to drop worldwide this coming Wednesday.

While WWE sent out an official announcement stating that the show would air at 8PM local time, there was some confusion as to whether or not it would air in the U.S. and when. We can now confirm that the show will in fact be airing at the same time everywhere, which means U.S. fans will get the chance to catch new episodes of NXT UK every Wednesday afternoon at 3PM eastern time.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for the debut episode:

“On the first episode of NXT UK, Pete Dunne defends his WWE United Kingdom Title against Noam Dar. Plus, Toni Storm and others in action!”

This tells us a few things. First and foremost, it looks like the tapings will be airing in relative order to when they were taped. That means the tournament to crown the first NXT UK Women’s Champion won’t begin until at least November 14th at the earliest, which could indicate that the previously announced title match at WWE Evolution may not be happening as originally planned.
